In order to gain maximum grip from the greatest downhill wheel in existance, we turned to a new formula – the mighty HORROTICA. In the Gamma Ray we wanted a high grip wheel with a slower rebound, perfect for railing corners and holding grip for fast exit speeds. We knew that you needed the ultimate Race Wheel, and turned our many minds to the seemingly impossible task.
In the end, we succeeded.

These wheels are beyond phenomenal. Probably the best grippy downhill wheels on the market right now, and certainly one of the better wearing ones.
When brand new and fresh, these things grip like nobodies business. They redefined my idea of a tight hairpin. It feels like you’re effortlessly floating through corners.
Horrotica isn’t like classic or happy ‘thane either. This ain’t some one-two run wheel before it looses it’s grip. These things keep on holding on even at the 65mm mark.
Once these wheels really start to shrink though, they transform into this super steezy super fun sliding wheel, staying round all the way down. Buttery, chalky, whatever you want to call it, these wheels feel amazing in a slide (once properly beaten into shape obviously).
All in all, easily one of my favorite dh wheels. I’ll keep buying more and more..
the warrior went on a stroll through the martian landscape which is Zululand, South Africa. one of the natives rolled a set of gamma rays its way. they were still covered in endometric fluid.
the warrior washed off these blue mushrooms in a nearby stream, fizzed them down with some african potato-beer, and soon was on the trip of a lifetime, zooling along aimlessly.
then came a corner…a left within a left down the Hotheels Africa racetrack. it went in wide, aiming to bubble the second apex. Distracted by the 11th planet and the stench of corpses, the warrior did not turn to the apex soon enough. It oscillated back out into space, and turned. it moved towards the pex, not sliding, not gripping, but tracking… a zulu cruising through the veld, cutting a blood trail, finding its way through the corner and to the bleeding animal. at the end of the run, in the spaceship on the ascent to the top, there were scrubmarks on the warrior’s wheels. the warrior never slid.
8 hours into the trip, the warrior realized that the mushrooms’ inside lips were starting to wear off. then came the seamonster. the big blue sideways movement slid like the slight resonating vibrations after an earthquake. little increments of grip amounting to a long smooth slide.
the warrior was fighting the seamonster with all the standup girth it could summon. the grande finale was down the steep death-like slopes of ape mountain, after grovelling a fence and submerging its Veedub under water.
the warrior killed the seamonster.
at hour 12 of the trip, the mushrooms left the warrior’s system, all that was left was four blue artifacts, each with an orange middle chewed out by a prehistoric beast, a very big smile and memories of the intergalactic trip which is my journey to the cult and back…
[PostSript I loathe your wheels and I feel the cult needs an ambassador in South Africa - put the task upon me and I will steal many a soul and convert them to the cemetery of life - with a fastidious passion unmatched by these mortal androids you call man...photo's will be posted hype will be created and blood will spill...]
