“Buy some Cult Classics if you want to go sideways” I was told by some mystical scottish geezer with a blonde beard and a really fetching head band. So I did. I love these wheels…I’d take them to bed with me at night and whisper sweet nothings in their urethane ears, but I much prefer the whisper they make as the slide over the road. When I core them, I’m fram them on the wall and proudly display them to everyone like a proud mother.
Buy these wheels and they’ll make you’re life better…in fact i don’t think it’s a mere coincidence that shortly after buying my cults I met my girlfriend.

When I first started freeriding on my longboard, I was skating wheels like otangs and zombie hawgs because those were some of the big name brands. They had to be the best, right? Wrong. I discovered Cult Classics online and am I glad I did. Some people say that your riding setup isn’t the most important thing, that your skill is what counts. After riding Cult wheels I can safety disagree with that. Cult Classics were a game changer for me. So buttery and smooth, they blow any other wheels I’ve ridden out of the water. Picture freeriding around on wheels made of frozen butter and you have a small understanding of skating Cult classics. Not only does their slide feel amazing, but its predictable too. I can feel comfortable throwing out stand up slides and speed checks at high speeds because I know my Cults wont let me down. You may be thinking that since their slide is so great, that they lack durability. I happy to say thats just not the case. I’ve had these wheels for 4 months now and my wheels are just barely starting to cone. I weigh around 165lbs and I do a lot of freeriding and glove slides. These wheels are very durable and feel amazing. I would suggest these to anyone wanting to slide on a board. With quality this good at such a reasonable price, go with Cult. Its not just a wheel, its a way of life.
If MYSTOTHANE is like butter, than i want to spread it on some bread. Classics are such a great wheel for learning to slide and progressing what you already know. With a softer wheel you expect them to wear quickly but classics wear evenly and not fast at all. Which coupled with the price means these are the best wheels for your money. Get some, you wont be disappointed.
Only took a couple of slides to break in. Then smooth, predictable slides with a “friendly” hookup. Doesnt buck your front foot off the board as with some other wheels, but you can still get back to traction again quickly. Bloody marvellous and bloody cheap. But my cat doesnt like them. So its thumbs up from me, and thumbs down (metaphorically because cats dont have thumbs) from him!
My first slide wheels i bought were otang stims, i wasn’t that impressed so i tried these, and wow! once you’ve broken them in(which took a while for a beginner like me) i learnt all sorts of slides in a matter of weeks that i just couldn’t achieve with my other wheels. Out of this world wheels cult! great job
amazing wheels, grippy when you want them to be, won’t slide out form under you, but extremely good for sliding and freeride. silky smooth slides and endless fun.
Once you put these wheels on, there is no turning back, only turning forward, with extreme steez and smoothness.
These wheels are what I use to compare all other slide wheels to, the’ve helped me with going from coleman’s to handsdown 540′s and alot of in between.
